We would like to thank all of our Coaches, Players,
Umpires and Facilities for another great year of NSA Softball
in Indiana.
Many changes are going on throughout the Nation
c
oncerning the economy, and we will continue to work to keep
our tournaments affordable for families and friends to be able
to watch these young ladies show their talent.  Some
tournaments will
have the gate fee included in the team's
registration.  This
should allow for more fans to attend the
games.

Rule Changes for 2010

*  Pitching distance for 16's will be 43 feet in Indiana and at
the World Series, this is optional for all states.

*  14's will be optional to pitch at 43 feet.  Indiana will pitch at
40 feet and the world series will be 40 feet.

*  10 & Under pilot program in Indiana for 10's to pitch from
40 feet.  Some tournaments will be set at 40 feet to allow us an
opportunity to
evaluate the needs for the future of these
young ladies
.  At this time, this age group has two obstacles to
overcome during their transition to the next age group.  An
11" ball
to a 12" ball, and a 35 feet pitching distance to a 40
feet pitching distance.

Important Notices

*  Coaches will be sent a Coaches Code of Ethics to be signed
and turned in at each tournament site
along with their signed
roster and insurance.  Please read
it carefully.

*  Tournaments at the Ft. Wayne Dome and Lafayette Blue
Chip are up and running.

Thank you for your time and dedication as we continue to
learn and grow together.
 God Bless.
